Can you come to visit us?
Yes, you are always welcome to contact us to make an appointment for a visit. We have many visitors all year round and we are very pleased that so many are interested.
Particularly for school classes: We have been established as a “Skolekontaktlandmand” – an offer specifically for school classes. Read more here.
What can you see and hear?
A visit typically consists of a presentation and a tour. You hear the story about the company and how the business has become what it is today, little about the market we are dealing with, and about future strategies.
Then you will go for a walk around the company, the machine house, the packing shop, the warehouse, the egg production, the farm shop, and see the demo-garden, and will probably visit a vegetable field and have a look at the biogas plant.
The tour can vary according to the time of year, what activities are going on and the group’s wishes.
It is possible to organize a visit that relates to a particular field of study if there is special interest in it. An example could be an exclusive visit to the biogas plant. Or there could be special interest in seeing special machines in operation and to visit some of our fields where they are in action. It depends on the day and weather and wind. But in the season there will always be an opportunity to see some vegetable production.
Time?
The summer season is most popular for visits, as there are activities everywhere, both in the vegetable fields and at home in the packing facility, and our demo-garden will look beautiful. And then there are always the egglaying hens – but they are now out year-round.
The time of day for a visit – here we prefer to see it happening in the daytime. We try to avoid evening events, as we need a “life” next to the vegetable and egg business.
The farm shop is open all days at 7-20. There is self-service. There are toilets at the farm shop, also with access for the disabled. Read more about the farm shop here.
Price?
A visit typically takes about 2 hours and costs 2,000, – excl. VAT for approx. 40 people. We can also accept larger groups, and here we agree at a special price. In addition, catering may be provided.
Meals?
There is an option to have food and drink on site. In connection with the farm shop, we have arranged a barn (former house for hens), which now serves as a nice meeting and course facility.
Here we usually meet the visitors on arrival and here you can get some delicious food or coffee and cake from our own farm café.
If you wish to have a meal, whether it is coffee and cake, a cheese sandwich or a lunch buffet, we can agree on this in advance.
We have the opportunity to serve an organic dish, based primarily on your own products – the range is according to your wishes, it may be sandwiches, but it can also be a buffet of seasonal meal salads, etc. The price depends on what you want. A homemade sandwich costs typically 55,- DKR. A salad buffet with 2-3 meal salads and bread costs typically 125,- DKR/pers. Everything is organic and the food is prepared on site.
You are welcome to bring your own food as well.
