Cabbage, red

The growing interest in organic cabbage varieties has meant that we have now also taken red cabbage into our organic range. Red cabbage, like white cabbage, is almost a Danish national dish and can be enjoyed both raw and cooked. Cabbage contains in addition to dietary fiber, A, B and C vitamins and minerals such as potassium and magnesium.

Onions, red

We have years of experience in cultivating red and yellow onions. We grow a larger area with organic onions than with conventional but still have a nice production of conventional onions.

Onions have a long history and have been used in both cooking and medicine. The strong taste and characteristic fragrance that causes the eyes to run into water stems from some amino acids that are secreted when the loin is cut.

Onions contain on the whole a number of beneficial substances, such as Quercetin, which should have a number of health-promoting properties.

Pointed cabbage, green

Green pointed cabbage has gradually gained ground with Danish consumers with its mild taste and many applications in both raw and cooked state. We therefore chose to start a smaller production of organic Green pointed cabbage in 2013.

Green pointed cabbage contains barely as many of the specially beneficial substances as the other cabbage varieties, yet just a cup of cut-on-spoon bowl covers the daily need for vitamin C.

The Red pointed cabbage differs – in addition to the color – from the more common Green pointed cabbage, being a bit more nice in the structure and having a slightly milder taste.

Kale, red

Red kale – or purple cabbage as it is also called – does not only taste good. It is also one of the healthiest cabbage types available. Like the regular Green kale, it is rich on dietary fiber and filled with vitamins A, C and K, as well as calcium, iron, manganese and potassium.

In addition, both types of kale contains a number of health-promoting substances (polyphenols). Recent research suggests That the beneficial substances in kale and cabbage can inhibit the growth of cancer cells.

If you want to make full use of the health-promoting substances, diet and nutritionists recommend eating Green and Red kale in raw condition.

Romanesco

Romanesco broccoli is a cross between broccoli and cauliflower that is closely related. The beautiful structure of the cabbage head looks like a landscape on a foreign planet, and its precious forms can be put on mathematical formula.

Romanesco broccoli has a milder and slightly sweeter flavor than its close relatives, broccoli and cauliflower. The cabbage is also rich in C, K and A vitamins as well as dietary fiber and contains more protein than broccoli and cauliflower. An exciting vegetable, which we hope has a future on Danish menus.

Bedriften har modtaget Økologisk Arealtilskud til at omlægge og drive bedriftens landbrugsarealer økologisk. Formålet med tilskuddet er at øge det økologiske areal i Danmark og derved opnå en række fordele for miljøet og biodiversitet. Tilskuddet har medført, at bedriften har været i stand til at opretholde en økologisk jordbrugsproduktion på bedriftens landbrugsarealer og sælge økologisk producerede  fødevarer.
Bedriften har modtaget Økologisk investeringsstøtte til maskiner til økologisk markdrift, grøntsagsproduktion, og i forbindelse med udvikling af den økologiske ægproduktion. Samlet set er formålet med de støtteberettigede investeringer at fremme den økologiske produktion på ejendommen.

Tilskud til dækning af gylletanke: Under j.nr. 24-0065321 er der opnået tilsagn om tilskud til reduktion af ammoniakemission ved etablering af overdækninger på gylletanke.
